Jeanne Wynifred 'Grace' Ripley

RIPLEY, Jeanne Wynifred (Grace) - age 79, of Argentine, died Monday, January 1, 2007 at Crestmont Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden with Pastor Margo Kivisto officiating. Interment will follow at Argentine Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Thursday and 1-4 and 6-8 Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Linden United Methodist Church Building Fund. Mrs. Ripley was born August 6, 1927 in Pittsburg, PA, the daughter of Stanley and Mabel (Brooks) Grace. She married George Milton Ripley on July 10, 1948 and he preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Ripley was a teacher's aide for special education in Howell Public Schools. She enjoyed children, hard work and her family. Surviving are: seven children, Carrie (Clint) Llewellyn of Waterford, Connie Van Cleave of NV, Linda Ripley (Steve Bergeron) of Portland, Lora (Sam) Bacon of Stanton, Gregory Ripley of Argentine, Glen (Doda) Ripley of Dundee, Martin Ripley of Argentine; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three siblings, Foster (Marion) Grace of Westland; Ellis (Jo) Grace of AZ; Elyn 'Lynn' (Russ) Koan of AZ.
