Jeanette Spencer

SPENCER, Jeanette Kay - Age 63, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday March 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held 4PM March 18, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 12PM until time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Jeanette was born April 14, 1953 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence A. and Mildred J. (Nance) Shock. She married James Lewis Spencer Jr. on November 15, 1969 and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1979. Jeanette enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and great grandchildren. Halloween and Christmas were her favorite times of the year. She had a great love for Disney and spent her free time playing bingo, reading, sewing and cooking and baking. She was loved by all and is greatly missed. Surviving are: mother, Mildred Nance-Shock of Montrose; children, Jamie Spencer of Grand Blanc, Kimberly Spencer of Flint, James Lewis (Anita) Spencer III of Swartz Creek, Katherine Spencer of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Andrea, David, Thomas, Ricky, Amber, Sarah, James; great grandchildren, Azaliah, Roger; sister Catherine "Joanne" (Ted) Cardinal of Montrose; nephews, Doug and Kenneth Cardinal.
