Kukuk, Jeanette (LaLomia) age 63, of Gaines, formerly of Ortonville, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 2PM Monday, April 24, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton., Rev. Joe Krall officiating. Visitation will be held 3-8PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Jeanette was born December 22, 1942 in Sault Ste. Marie, the daughter of Thomas and June (Bell) Harvey. She graduated from St. Marys Catholic High School in Sault Ste. Marie. Later in life she attended Mott Community College and then graduated from University of Michigan, Flint with a Bachelor Degree in Teaching. Jeanette married David Kukuk on October 24, 2004 in Frankenmuth. After graduation, she was a substitute teacher at Brandon Schools. Surviving are her husband, David of Lapeer; 2 children, Leslie Lynne (Kevin) Valentine of Mears, Tracey Lee (Ronald) Cousineau of Gaines; 4 grandchildren, Devin, Austin, Etienne, Jenee; 2 step- children, Lindsay Kukuk and Whitney Kukuk, both of Oxford; 2 sisters, Patty Vierk of Melvindale, Annie (Joe) Krall of Canada; brother, John (Jane) Harvey of Fenton; many nieces and nephews.
