Jeanette Burman

BURMAN, Jeanette M. - age 87, formerly of Redford Township and Plymouth, died January 6, 2021. Private services will be held and burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society (www.michiganhumane.org) or a charity of one's choice. Jeanette was born January 2, 1934 in Inglewood, California, the daughter of Ashley and Lottie (Burt) Bowen. She married Joseph R. Burman on May 13, 1958 and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2012. Mrs. Burman retired from Thurston High School in Redford Township. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary for over 20 years. Surviving are: two children, Lynn Dowell of Huntersville, NC; Joseph (Doris) Burman of Lansing; three grandchildren, Joseph C. (Bella) Burman, Madeline Burman, and David Burman; two great-grandchildren, Zoey and Ayla Burman. Arrangements by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc, MI 48507.
