Jeanette Boillat

BOILLAT, Jeanette Joy - Age 98, of Flint, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, April 6, 2017 at South Baptist Church, 4091 Van Slyke Rd., Flint with her son, Pastor David Boillat and Pastor Larry Burk officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint and from 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her children's individual churches' Missionary Fund. Mrs. Boillat was born August 6, 1918 in Chief, MI, Manistee County, the daughter of Homer David and Adah Grace (Pennock) Penrod. She graduated from Perry High School in 1936 and married Harold Lee Boillat on September 4, 1937 at the Penrod Farm home in Perry. Jeannette was a full time mom and on April 11, 1956 she committed her heart and life to Jesus, which was an incredible help with the family. From an empty nest she did Home Health Care through referrals and word of mouth for 30 years assisted by her three daughters. Surviving are: 8 children, Lois Moro of Davison, Juanita Joy Herron of Owosso, Norma (Douglas) Shue of Flint, David (Brenda) Boillat of Saginaw, Linda Bausick of Broomfield, CO, Danny (Janice) Boillat of Flint, Ellen (Glenn) Crandell of Flint, and Patricia Mass of Flint, who came to live with her after her husband passed away in 2011; 29 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 27 great great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Howard Boillat of Swartz Creek; sister-in-law, Doris Boillat of Byron. She was preceded in death by: her husband on July 11, 2011; daughter, Jeanette Lee in 1967; and grandson, Michael Crandell on July 21, 2005.
