Jean Takacs

TAKACS,  Jean Marie - Age 78, daughter of Marcella and Paul O'Mara, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020. Jean was born on August 24, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan. She dedicated her life taking care of others. Jean and her beloved canine companions were fixtures in Genesee County neighborhoods for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Joseph Takacs, sister Paula MacLeod, and sister, Margaret Provost, and Evelyn Mclormick. She is survived by her son, Sean Paul Takacs, of Clio, Michigan, her daughter, Shannon Eneix, of Fenton, Michigan, her daughter, Jean Marie Carver, of Annapolis, Maryland, and her eight grandchildren, Megan Takacs, Zack Takacs, Trenton Carver, Justine Lanphear, Dan Takacs, Casey Carver, Colin Carver, and Vance Carver. At Miss Takacs' request, there will be no viewing or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite dog rescue charity.
