SWITALSKI, Â Jean S., age 85 of Clio, formerly of Flushing, died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Â Mrs. Switalski was born in Flint on April 8, 1922 the daughter of Carl and Natalie Fritzler. Â She has been an area resident all her life having lived in Flushing for 57 years. She and Harold C. Switalski were married in Flint and he preceded her in death on December 12, 1999. Â She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, PLAV Post 8 Women's Auxillary, the American Legion Post 342 Auxillary and Dom Polski. Mrs. Switalski was a homemaker and a dedicated volunteer for several years at the gift shop of the former Flint Osteopathic Hospital, but most of all she was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her 6 children: Â Dorothy Haddrill, Michael Switalski and wife Sharon, Carl Switalski, Barbara Kelly, Harold Switalski,Jr. and wife Lori and Rick Switalski. Â Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: Â Lynn, Paula, Jacob, James and Danielle; 3 great-grandchildren; Dana, Devinne and Emilee and a sister, Mildred Artibee. Â A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 10, 2007 at All Saints Catholic Church, G-4063 W. Pierson Rd., Flint. Â Rev. Fr. Anthony P. Majchrowski will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc Twp. on Thursday from 2 to 8 P.M. with the Rosary to be prayed at 7 P.M. followed by a P.L.A.V. Post 8 memorial service. Memorial donations in her memory made to a charity of choice.
