MASLAK, Jean Charlotte (Roush) - age 91, of Swartz Creek, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 5, 2017. Jean was born January 18, 1926 in Pittsburgh, PA to Eugene and Florence (Haben) Roush. Jean graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1943 and worked at Bell Telephone, retiring in 1982. On November 4, 1950 she was married to William Maslak who preceded her in death. Jean was also preceded in death by her son, Scott; brothers, Rocky and Johnny; and son-in-law, Douglas Skinner. Jean is survived by: her children, Paula (Jeff) Bye, Billy (Julie) Maslak, and Karen Maslak; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Amy) Bye, Matthew Bye, Alex Maslak, and Cole Skinner; great-grandchildren, Jillian and Jeffrey Bye III; sister, Patricia Shaw; many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. A special thank you to everyone at the Swank Home and Hometown Hospice for all their loving care.
