MACCOMBS, Jean Louise, age 84, of Holly, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at home. Services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 15010 N. Holly Rd., Holly, MI. Rev. Faith Green Timmons and Jeff Miller officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church. Jean was born October 4, 1925 in Lansing, the daughter of Wilbur and Bernice (Campbell) Johnson. She married Oral Maccombs in 1944 in Holly and he preceded her in death in 1991. Jean was a 1943 graduate of Holly High School and was employed at Diehl's Orchard for 19 years. She had been an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church, and her goodness will be remembered forever. Surviving are her children, Sharon Donoghue of Holly, Oral Johnie Maccombs of Holly, Claudia Montgomery of Lansing, Jorge Maccombs of Lansing, Dean Maccombs of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
