Jean Krupp

KRUPP, Jean Adams - Age 96, of Lennon, died Saturday, March 2, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, March 7, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church - Maple Grove, 17994 Lincoln Road, New Lothrop. Burial in St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, New Lothrop. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 7PM; and visitation at the church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Jean was born April 6, 1922 in Burt, the daughter of Louis Wolf and Winiford (Adams) Brabant. She married Carl Theodore Krupp November 25, 1947 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Saginaw and he preceded her in death February 4, 2004. She owned and operated Krupp's Novelty Shop in Lennon for 70 years, "Jean started business on an orange crate". She had resided in Lennon for the past 70 years. Jean was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and was a member of the Business Women's Association for many years. Surviving are: her children, Barbara (Art) Hamman of Florida, Casey Krupp of Florida, Earl (Paula) Krupp of Swartz Creek, Floyd Krupp of Linden, Fred (Karen) Krupp of Linden, Bonnie O'Neal of Lennon, and John Krupp and fiancee' Anne of Linden; 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Wally Brabant of Michigan; very loyal employee and friend, Janelle Matznick; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ken Krupp; sisters, Lucille and Betty Lou; and brothers, Ed and Art. Tributes may be posted at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
