Jean B. Johnson

JOHNSON, Jean B.  Age 83, of  Fenton, went home to meet her Lord March 8, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be from 2-9 PM Friday. Jean was born in Detroit on January 30, 1922 the daughter of Bernard and Ida (OBrien) Zerba. She has resided in Fenton the past 16 years. She was married to James Johnson in Detroit in 1954. Jean was a loving and devoted Mother to her six children. She had a strong faith, and her family is comforted knowing she is with Jesus. Jean loved nature, animals, and the simple pleasures in life. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband, James; two sons, Martin Johnson and wife Ory of Armada, James Johnson and wife Patricia of Brighton; two daughters, Lenora Lennie and husband William Thurston of Fenton, Beverly and husband John DeLong of Argentine; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Alex Sneddon; brother, Bob Zerba of Saginaw; and her cat, Jazz.
