Jason Arthur PLATZ

PLATZ, Jason Arthur, age 37, of Mt Morris, passed away January 17, 2011 at Genesys Hospice Care Center of Goodrich. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, G-2316 W. Coldwater Rd., Flint. Fr. Timothy A. Nelson celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-9 p.m. Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp., with a rosary being prayed at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Jason was born January 24, 1973 in Flint. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games and watching Michigan Sports. Jason was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan as well. Surviving are: his father, Arthur (Dolores) Herrera of Ohio; brothers, Arthur Herrera Jr. of IN, Alex Herrera of Ohio, Antonio (Trisha) Herrera of Ohio, Andres Herrera of Ohio; sisters, Stephanie and Sara Platz both of Flint; many neices, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family would like to extend a thank-you to Jason's best friend Micah and his family. Preseded in death are his mother Mindy Platz and his Grandparents.
