DYER, Janie Lorraine - Age 75,  of Flint, died Friday, December 4, 2020.   Private family services will be held at Faith Missionary Church. Private interment to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Public visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions to Children's Miracle Network or Faith Missionary Church. Janie was born  April 11, 1945 in Flint the daughter of John and Hildred (Morrissett) Raasio.  She married John C. Dyer on November 5, 1966 in Flint, he preceded her in death on  July 17, 2015. She attended Hurley School of Nursing, then was employed at Hurley as a nurse.  She was a member of the Faith Missionary Church.  She loved to sing in the Flushing Follies and the Church Choir.  She enjoyed needlework and making clothes and costumes for her children growing up.
She is survived by 4 children, Danielle Callen (Fiance Chet Mullaney), John (Angela) Dyer II, Bethany (Michael) Breeden, Mary (Matthew) Cobbett; son-in-law, Derek Watson; grandchildren, Hailey and Gabriella Dyer, Lily, Paige and Jacob Breeden, Maisie Cobbett; brothers,  Thom Raasio, Don (Mike Kelly) Raasio;  many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband John; daughter, Kathleen Dyer; brother, Karl Raasio.
