White (Bratkovich), Janice Ruth  age 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 21st, 2005 after a long and courageous battle with various medical conditions. Janice was loved by her family and will be lovingly remembered as a caring, understanding and compassionate mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Janice Ruth was born on November 21st, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah and moved with her parents to Wheaton, IL. While in Wheaton she enjoyed spending time with her friends, her two Shetland sheep dogs (Skippy and Ruffles) and attending youth activities at Wheaton Bible Church. It was in Wheaton that she met her husband to be, Paul. They were married on September 2nd, 1967. In 1970 Jan and Paul moved to Michigan with son Jeffrey. Three years later she had twin boys, Jason and Jonathon. While in Michigan, Jan enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, dogs, doing yard work, reading, music, traveling, and attending church where she sang in the choir. Janice worked in the medical and dental fields for many years. She leaves behind 3 sons and a daughter-in-law: Jeffrey, Jonathon, Jason & wife Linda.  She also leaves behind her beloved grandson, Parker. Janice is survived by her parents William & Mary Bratkovich (Armbruster), 3 brothers Jerry (Donna), Joel (Lois), and Jim Bratkovich, and many nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lugene White, who went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 19th, 2002. She was loved very much and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services and visitation will proceed as follows:  Visitation will be Monday, April 25th and Tuesday April 26th, 2005 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 27th at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Flushing, 5105 N. McKinley Rd., Flushing.  Internment will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.  A fellowship luncheon will held after the cemetery services at First Baptist Church of Flushing for those who wish to attend.
