HOLBECK, Janice G. - Age 74, of Flint. God must of been over Michigan because he took his daughter home, Monday, August 6, 2018. Services will be held 4 PM Monday, August 13, 2018 at Calvary Christian Church, 7315 Corunna Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 3 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association. Janice was born February 9, 1944 in Swartz Creek, the daughter of Frank and Nona (Harper) Markva. She was a 1962 graduate of Swartz Creek High School and received an Associates Degree from Baker College. She had resided in the Flint area her entire life. She was employed by Sam's Club for 20 plus years. Surviving are: her children, Erin and husband Brett Dolce of Colorado and Evan and wife Jamie Holbeck of Flushing; 6 grandchildren, Harper, Ariana, Mason, Dane, Mya, and Emma; great grandson, Sawyer; brother, Todd Markva of Swartz Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
