STURK, Janette Elaine - Age 92, of Fenton, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly at a later date.

Janette was born May 2, 1932 in Davison, the daughter of Carl and Bernice (McKinstry) Garrison. She was a 1949 graduate of Davison High School. She married Richard R. Pilon, Sr. in 2006 and he preceded her in death 2021. Janette retired from GM AC Spark Plug in 1992 after 37 1/2 years of service. She was a member of the U.A.W. Local #651. She was a former member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church; where she was involved with the United Women in Faith. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, going to the cottage on Black Lake and most of all, spending time with her family.

Surviving are: her children, Steven Sturk of Burton, Shelley (Mike) Van Norman of Fenton and Sheryl (John) Vincke of Fenton; 3 grandchildren, Brad (Kelly) Van Norman of Linden, Justin Glasco of Los Angeles, CA and Alisyn (Jared) Hurd of Flint; great granddaughters, Kailyn and Alanna; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Garrison; sister, Carol Sorenson; and her children's father, Wesley C. Sturk. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
