Janet Wagner

Janet Susan (Smith) Wagner, age 65, died peacefully with her son by her side, at McLaren Flint. Janet was born September 28, 1954, in Tecumseh, Michigan. She lived in many different cities, including Ann Arbor, Jackson, Harrison, Brighton, Howell, Linden, and Flint. Janet worked many different jobs throughout the years, including factory work, retail, and fast food. In her latter years, she was disabled and unable to work. Janet was an avid fan of the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers. She enjoyed crocheting, watching TV, playing cards, especially Rummy and Euchre, listening to 50s and 60s rock and pre-90s country, and in her younger years, hunting and fishing. Janet also enjoyed making people laugh and have fun, and many people enjoyed meeting her. Janet is survived by her son, Andrew Smith of Flint, Michigan, her daughters, Amanda (Vinson) Hudson of Appleton, Wisconsin and Michelle Vinson of Durand, Michigan, 3 grandchildren, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose (Dresden) Uphaus of Ann Arbor, her father, Eugene Smith of Manchester, and her brother Jack Uphaus of Ann Arbor.
