SHOCK, Janet Mary  Age 64, of Linden, died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, October7, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Tuesday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt A Pet. Janet was born February 24, 1940 in Flint, the daughter of Raymond and Belva (Wheeler) Middleton. She was a graduate of Northern High School. Janet was married to Glenn D. Shock on March 23, 1957 in Flint. She was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church and O.E.S. El Said Court #28. Mrs. Shock volunteered with Adopt A Pet and the Humane Society. Surviving are: husband, Glenn; sons, Chris and wife Donna Shock of Alaska, Steve Shock of Davison; grandchildren, Tiffany and Jonathan of Alaska; sister, Dorothy Long of Flint; several nieces and nephews; beloved pet Yorkie, Emmy Lou; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Max and Jeanette Shock of Flint, Arthur and Orla Shock of Davison, Mike and Velda Shock of Flint; Lee Lynch of Flushing; a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Richard and Raymond Middleton; sisters, Violet French and Frances Reichault.
