Janet Roberta 'Becky' Dues

Dues, Janet Roberta Becky- Age 81, of Flint, died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 25, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road.  Rev. Grant Wessel officiating.  Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9PM Wednesday, 1-4 and 6-9 P.M. Thursday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Mott Childrens Hospital, Ann Arbor.  Mrs. Dues was born November 22, 1922 in Merritt, British Columbia, Canada, the daughter of David and Janet (Ferguson) Baxter.  She had resided in the Flint area most of her life.  She married Lyle M. Dues April 27, 1941 in Fenton.  She enjoyed her dogs, bingo, sewing, baking and decorating cakes, knitting, crocheting and hosting holiday dinners.  Surviving are:  husband, Lyle M.; daughter, Patricia Megyesi of Ft. Meyers, FL; 4 grandchildren, Heather and husband Brian Combs of Flushing, Marisa and husband Harold Snyder of Davison, David Tobias of Flint, Scott Megyesi of Ft. Meyers, FL; 5 great grandchildren, Daniel, Joshua, Nicole, Jennifer, Brandon; sister, Sarah and husband John Stewart of Livonia; 2 nieces, Janice and husband James Trubak and Roberta Stewart both of Livonia; many other relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
