BERCK, Janet Shirley - Age 91 of Flint died October 22, 2015. Services will be held at Machpelah Cemetery, 4615 Branch Road in Flint, at 1PM on Monday, October 26, 2015. The family will receive friends from 12PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Society or the American Cancer Society. Janet was born January 5, 1924, the daughter of Fred and Fay (Goldberg) Goodman in Bay City. She was a homemaker and member of Congregational Beth Israel, Senior Adventures INC and the Senior Friendship Club. Prior to her marriage, she worked for the U.S. Government Navy Branch for 5 years. Survived by son, Michael (Karen) Berck of Flint, grand-daughter Emily (Aron) Gerics of Flint, great-grandson Collin Gerics and niece, Debbie Ross.
