BAILEY, Janet Kay -- Age 81 of Grand Blanc died April 30, 2015. Funeral service will be held 4:30 PM Tuesday, May 5 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be 11 AM Saturday May 9, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 450 Courthouse Rd. Princeton WV. 24740. Visitation will be held 12PM until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to a Veterans organization of choice. Janet was born November 19, 1933 in Bishop Virginia the daughter of Lace Med and Amelia Harman(Davidson) Asbury. She married Alfred J. Bailey on February 22, 1960 in Bluefield Virginia he preceded her in death on June 14, 1992. She was a switchboard operator for GTE in Bluefield VA & FOH in Flint MI. She is survived by her children, Alfred James Bailey Jr. of Flint, Mark Anthony (Lori) Bailey of Houston TX, April Lee (Mike) Barritt of Columbiaville, William Kenneth Bailey of Grand Blanc and his girlfriend Stacey; grandchildren, Brandon, Jodi, Michael, Justin, Jasmine, Brandon; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; siblings, Lace Med Asbury, Kenneth Barnes Asbury, Grover Lee (Dutch) Asbury, Wanda Joy Lanahan, Dorthy Love (Ducky) Harding.
