Jane Schooley

SCHOOLEY, Jane Gertrude - Age 84, of Alma formerly of Flint, died October 10, 2016 at the Masonic Home of Alma. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, October 13 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 E. 5th Ave., Flint. Fr. Zachary Mabee celebrant. Interment 1:30 PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and 10-11AM at the church on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to Flint Powers Catholic High School. Jane was born June 16, 1932 in Flint the daughter of Francis and Helen (Cassidy) Meagher. She was a 1950 graduate of St. Michaels High School. Jane married Ford Schooley November 28, 1964 in Flint. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Jane was employed as a Bookkeeper at Central Paint Supply for many years. Surviving are: two sons, Matt (Lori) Schooley of Alma, Lynn (Genia) Schooley of Gaylord; grandchildren, Anthony ( Melissa) Schooley of Allen Park , Nathan (Alyssa) Schooley, Ashley (Casey) Mueller, Kalen Schooley, all of Alma; great grand children, Reese and Jackson Mueller; sister, Loretta (Edward) Van Driesschel of Ohio She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ford Schooley and several brothers and sisters.
