WALTHER, Jana Dene -- Age 51, of Flint, died July 26, 2014. Services will be held 1PM Friday August 1 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday and 11AM until time of service on Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Jana was born November 14, 1962 in Flint the daughter of Jack and Jennie (Fisher) Pyles. First and foremost, Jana was mother to three beautiful children, Justen age 26, Kali age 23 and Kelsey age 22. She loved cooking and caring for her children and many others. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School in 1980 and Ferris State University in 1985 as a Dental Hygienist and worked in that field for several years. She was an active member of the Howell Jaycees and served as their president in 2000. She had many friends through the Jaycees. Jana was a very outgoing, vivacious person, loved by many she touched with her life. She will be sorely missed by all. In addition to her children, Jana is survived by her daughter-in-law to be; Carolyn Johnson; mother, Jennie (Fisher) Pyles; aunt, Janet Rapone; three uncles, Joe(Kathy), John (Paula) and George (Donna) and many special cousins.
