WALLACE, James E. age 80, of Flint, died Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Fostrian Manor. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday. September 1, 2010 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd., Burton with Fr. Steven Anderson celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Monday and 2-5 and 7-9 Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint where a rosary will be prayed at 7:30 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Mr. Wallace was born August 29, 1929 in Flint, the son of Wilfred and Marguerite L. (Wiesen) Wallace. He was a 1947 graduate of St. Michael High School and resided in Flint his entire life. Mr. Wallace married Peggy K. Owen on January 2, 1952 in Angola, IN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Wallace was an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Group with his agency on Bristol Road. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and a member of the Flint Board of Supervisors from 1965-1967. Surviving are: wife, Peggy; three children, Joseph Wallace of Fenton, Kathleen (Edward) Siegwald of Swartz Creek, Robert (Laurie) Wallace of Flint; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille (Eugene) Graczyk of Flint, Lou Anne Wallace of Haslett.
