VANVLIET, James Arthur, Jr. Â Age 53, of Fenton (Tyrone Twp.), died Monday, October 25, 2004 at his residence. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 28, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will be held at Tyrone Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 7-9 PM Tuesday and 2-5 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to James Arthur VanVliet, Jr. Memorial Fund. Mr. VanVliet was born September 27, 1951 in Wayne County, the son of James Arthur and Phoebe B. (Barron) VanVliet. Mr. VanVliet has resided in Tyrone Township the last 15 years. He married Mary Burnham on July 9, 1994 in Fenton. Mr. VanVliet was a 1972 graduate of Walled Lake High School. He was employed by Ford Motor Company in the Sunroof Division and at Hartland Lumber as a truck driver. Mr. VanVliet was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Burton. Surviving are: wife, Mary; seven children, Tina and husband, Greg Asbury of Burton, James VanVliet III and wife, Cathy of Grand Blanc, Tammy Jeanne VanVliet of Wixom, Tammy Lee and husband, Daryl Beil of Linden, William VanVliet and wife, Tiffany of Highland, Justin Teays and wife, Danielle of Argentine, Patricia Kowalski of Fenton; 16 grandchildren; mother, Phoebe and husband, Walter VanZomeren of Walled Lake; four sisters, Beverly and husband, Mark Buell of Webberville, Jeanette and husband, Claude Richmond of New Hudson, Mary Ike of Highland, JoHannah Pence of Whitelake.
