James Ribarchik

RIBARCHIK, James D.- Age 73, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, December 8, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Friday, December 12, 2008 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Steve Mattson celebrant. Interment will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A rosary will be recited 7PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. James was born December 14, 1934 in Flint the son of the late Michael P. and Anna H. (Sipka) Ribarchik and lived in the Flint area all of his life. He married Mildred Viles May 6, 1961 in Bannister MI. James retired from GM SPO with 38 and a half years of service. Mr. Ribarchik loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening, he also enjoyed watching baseball, football, and hunting programs on T.V. Surviving are his wife, Mildred of 47 and a half years; sons David of Swartz Creek, Daniel and fiance, Annette of TN; grandchildren Amanda and Joshua of TN; friend, Rhonda Mabe of TN; sister, Frances (Louis) Kalocy of Flint and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
