PETITTI, James Felix - Age 82, of Grand Blanc, passed away, Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at The Pines of Lake Fenton. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with Military Honors immediately following held under the auspices of V.F.W. Flint Post #822. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzhiemers Association. James was born January 17, 1928 in Painesdale, the son of John and Julia (Micheletti) Petitti. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He married Irene Marie Arnold July 28, 1955 in Angola, IN and she preceded him in death September 3, 1999. James retired from Fisher Body Grand Blanc after 30 years of service. He was a member of Burton Fraternal Order of Eagles #3814 and the V.F.W. Flint Post #822. He had resided in Grand Blanc most of life. Surviving are: 5 children, Rico J. Petitti of Port Allen, LA, Jenny M. and husband Pat Kuehlewind of Flint, Mary L. and husband Juan Escamilla of South Carolina, Holly A. and husband Joe Boyd of Burton and Giovanni J. Petitti of Burton; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brother, Geno Petitti of Flint; 2 sisters, Geraldine Baker and Josephine and husband Ray Larson both of Gladwin. Several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph Petitti; sister, Jenny; brother-in-law, John Baker; sister-in-law, Jan Petitti. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staffs of both the Pines of Lake Fenton and Genesys Hospice for the exception care given to their father.
