James Pellerin

Pellerin, James Arthur- Age 93, of Flint Township, died June 19, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday June 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Jerry Rohn officiating. Burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will take place 2-8 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to Lutheran Children and Family Services, 301 Tuscola Rd., Bay City. James was born April 6, 1924 in St. Clair, the son of Charles and Mary Priest. He married Ellen Park in Flint on July 28, 1947. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served in World War II. He was employed at the GM Grand Blanc Fisher Body Plant in skilled trades and retired in 1979. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his children, Walt (Sue) Head, Sandra (Roger) Roselle, Janice (Tom) Unangst, Debra (Rick) Jones, David Pellerin, and Brian Pellerin; fifteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
