NOLL, James E. - Age 72, of Flushing, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, February 18, 2008 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint with Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Saturday and 2-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with a Rosary being prayed 6 PM Sunday. The family will also receive friends from 10 AM Monday until the time of service at church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Leukemia Foundation. James was born May 28, 1935 in Ft. Wayne, IN the son of Harold and Martha (Winkleman) Noll. He was a 1953 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Ft. Wayne, IN and a 1957 graduate of St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN. He had lived in the Flint area since 1975. Mr. Noll married Linda Galerneau February 13, 1979 in Flint. He worked for IBM for 32 years, starting out as an Administrator and retiring as a Marketing Rep. He also had worked as a Marketing Instructor for IBM in Dallas. Mr. Noll was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Linda Noll of Flushing; 5 children, Karen Noll of San Francisco, CA, Amanda Noll of Flushing, David Noll of California, Michael Kampling of Denver, Colorado, Sara and husband Clay Phillips of Holly; 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Chloe, Megan, Samuel, Harrison and Henry; brother, Thomas Noll of Florida; cousin, Margaret Ann Potthoff of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Daniel. Tributes and online condolences can be posted to the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
