James Carlton Munger

MUNGER, James Carlton  Age 73, of Flint, died July 20, 2005 at Genesys Health Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11714 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc with Fr. Steve Anderson celebrant where the family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of mass. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (just south of Hill Rd.) Flint. A rosary will be prayed on 7 PM Friday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Holy Family Catholic Church. Mr. Munger was born January 29, 1932 in Mt. Morris, MI, the son of Milo Durwood and Maude Irene (Fish) Munger. He married Lorraine A. Scott on April 23, 1950 in West Branch, MI. Mr. Munger was the District Manager of Traffic Control, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the UCT and a Cub Master. Surviving are: wife, Lorraine; seven children, Michael (Sandra) Munger, Rick Munger, Mary (Steve) Beardslee, Karen (Brian) Baird, Cheryl (Leonard) Klinert, Jeffrey Munger, Cathy (John) Chatfield; 21 grandchildren, Audrey, Claire, Johnathon (Alicia), Sonya, Lonna, Christina, Brandy, Heather, Kacie, Crystal, Dusten, Nathan, Chris, Jeff, Aaron, Allen, Alysha, Allen, Andrea, Andrew, and Alex; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Caleb; sister, Cora (Jerry) Davis.
