James Victor MISHALL

MISHALL, James Victor - Age 69, of Portage formerly of Linden, died Monday, August 20, 2012. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden, with Fr. David Harvey officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 5-9 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the James V. Mishall Memorial Fund. Jim was born September 15, 1942 in Flint, the son of Joffre Victor and Helen Marie (Berry) Mishall. He was a graduate of Flint Southwestern High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Jim married Elaine S. Zuchegno March 23, 1963 in Flint. He was Vice President of Structure Bonding for many years and was an independent contractor developing an epoxy pump. He was a former member of the Fenton Eagles and the Fenton Moose Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Elaine; 4 children, Joffre and wife Susan Mishall of Cary, IL, Jody and wife Jodie Mishall of Linden, Danielle and husband Paul Bennema of West Chicago, IL and Gillian and husband Greg Gohl of Portage; 11 grandchildren, Samantha, Jacob, Sarah, Sabrina, Joshua, Blaike, Kevin, Garrett, Sidney, Austen and Nolan; 2 great grandsons, Conner and Graeson; brother, Barry and wife Carol Mishall of St. Petersburg, FL; step-mother, Linda and husband Paul Vanston of Grand Blanc; step-sisters, Kerri Stiverson and Darci Champion both of Fenton; several nieces and nephews.
