James Mcguire

MCGUIRE, James F. -- Age 78, formerly of Flint, Michigan, died November 8, 2017. A memorial service will be held 5PM, Saturday November 25, 2017 at Gordon R. Bennett, VFW Post 1452, 10380 N. Saginaw Road, Clio, Michigan where a honor guard service, followed by a Rosary and then a remembrance dinner. Cremation has taken place. Jim was born in Flint on October 11, 1939 to Frank and Pauline (Pobocik) McGuire. He served as a United States Marine. He retired from the V-8 Engine Plant and spent the summer in Charlevoix, Michigan and the winter in Port Richey, Florida. He was a member of AA and was sober for 46 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen (Pickard) McGuire; sons, James and friend Michele Kerchner, Jerry and wife Dori, Sean and wife Jennifer; daughter Renee and husband, Tracy Auten. He also leaves 2 sisters, Patricia and her husband Jim Neering of Flushing, Michalene Wright of Charlevoix. He has many blessings in his life including 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
