James Mccurdy

McCURDY, James Fred - Age 84, of Swartz Creek, died April 27, 2019. No services will be held. James was born April 5, 1935 in Flint, the son of Fred John and Vera (Hittle) McCurdy. He was married to Gloria Davis on June 11, 1955 in Flint; she preceded him in death on January 16, 2015. Mr. McCurdy retired from General Motors. He also had served as a volunteer fireman for Flint Township and Burton Fire Departments. He is survived by his children, Sherri Holden of Swartz Creek, Tim McCurdy of Clio; grandchildren, Brian McCurdy of Colorado, Kathryn (Chris) Ballard of Rochester Hills, Courtney Holden of Swartz Creek and Danielle Holden of Swartz Creek; great-granddaughter, Alexis; sisters, Kay (Robert) Jackson of Swartz Creek, Marsha (Larry) Hick of Davison. He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Aikin.
