James Lapham

LAPHAM, James Joseph - Age 82, of Fenton, passed away August 2, 2022. Services will be held 11AM Friday, August 12, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. The family will receive friends from 4-8PM Thursday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. James was born February 11, 1940, the son of John and Edna (Rice) Lapham. He married Ruth Ann DesJardins on June 25, 1960. James loved his work as a pipefitter and retired as a business manager from Local# 636. He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann; son, Kenneth; daughter, Lisa; grandchildren, Christopher, Clayton, Olivia, Tyler and Lindsay; siblings, Joseph, William, Thomas, Sue, Ann and Patrick. He was preceded in death by his sons, Mark and Douglas; sister, Mary; brothers, Michael and John.
