James Leonard KNEIPP

KNEIPP, James Leonard - age 83, of Fenton, died Friday, April 27, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Kneipp was born April 23, 1929 in Cincinnati, OH, the son of Joseph William and Grace Elizabeth (Bohn) Kneipp. He was a resident of Fenton since 2008 coming from Cincinnati, OH. Mr. Kneipp was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW in Fairfax, OH. Surviving are: daughter, Mary Nannette (Robert) Pitman of Fenton; two grandsons, Michael (Askana) Hart of Auburn Hills, Philip (Leslie) Hart of Taylor; two great-grandchildren, Lucas and Nadia Hart; siblings, Dorothy Corey, Eleanor Duffy, Betty Cunningham, Rita (Ralph) Meineke, Raymond (Alvina) Kneipp, Gene (Ernestine) Kneipp, Robert (Janie) Kneipp, Charles (Jan) Kneipp, all of Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
