James Kielczewski

KIELCZEWSKI, James Raymond - Age 77, of Linden, died April 24, 2020. Private Mass and burial have taken place. A public memorial will be held at a later date when restrictions have been lifted. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. James was born April 6, 1943 in Dearborn, the son of Stephen and Elizabeth Mae (Hayes) Kielczewski. James was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he started the Knights of Columbus and served as Grand Knight for 3 terms. He was a plumber with Local #98 for many years. He was also a master pipefitter, retiring from General Motors after 25 years of service, but his favorite job was "papa" to his seven grandchildren. James was very patriotic and loved to feed his birds. He is survived by his wife of 55 1/2 years,  Rose Marie; children, Laura (Dale) Tutt, Nancy (Dan) Parker, Brian (Rose) Kielczewski; grandchildren, James, Ethan, Kayley, Rylan, MaKenlee, Jace and Sydnee; brother, Dan (Pat) Kielczewski; nephews, Kevin, Michael, Ryan and Brendan.
