James Frederick Jeffers

JEFFERS, James Frederick - Age 90, of Linden, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via James obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). James was born January 12, 1935 in Flint, the son of Donald Francis and Ida May (Streeter) Jeffers. He was a 1953 graduate of Grand Blanc High School. He married Mary J. Courter, June 20, 1953 in Flint and she preceded him in death January 21, 2017. He had resided in Linden since 1969. James retired in 1997 from AC Sparks after 44 years of service.

Surviving are: his children, Jim Jeffers of Linden, Vicki Jeffers of Linden, Joe (Renae') Jeffers of Linden, Jess (Starr) Jeffers of Cochoctah and Shannon (Scott) Baxter of Holly; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Justin Jeffers; and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Darlene Jeffers. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
