James Edward Hayden

HAYDEN, James Edward of Swartz Creek, age 78, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Medilodge of Montrose. James was born July 13, 1926 the son of James and Edna (Smith) Hayden. After serving in the U.S. Navy in World War II he attended Kings College and Pennsylvania State University. In 1982 he was employed by Buick as a Metallurgical Engineer. His greatest love was spending time with his family and was devoted to his grandchildren.Surviving are his stepson Richard Winacuff and daughter-in-law Diana; granddaughter, Candice Winacuff; grandson, Cameron (Teresa) Winacuff; brother, Ken (Lenora) Hayden; niece, Valerie (Pat) Musto; Great nieces, Olivia Musto and Gianna Musto; aunt, Alice Smith and devoted friend, Genieva Maynard. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia (Stoddard) Hayden and his parents. There will be a memorial service for immediate family at a later date.
