James Grubba

GRUBBA, James Joseph - Age 77, of Fenton, died Sunday, November 29, 2020.  Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held later next spring.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or the American Heart Association.

James was born December 24, 1942 in Hamtramck, the son of George and Veronica (Koltuniak) Grubba.  He was a 1960 graduate of St. Ladislaus Catholic High School in Hamtramck.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy where was a Corpsman.  He married Sandra L. Olszewski September 5, 1964 in Hamtramck.  He owned and operated J & S Sales.  James was a member of the Fenton Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #430.  He was an avid golfer and he organized the annual K.G.F. Golf Memorial outing.

Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Sandra; daughter, Karin and husband Dan Wilbanks of Lake Worth, FL; grandsons, Christopher and wife Chelsea Farrell and Ryan and wife Alyssa Farrell; brother, Thomas and wife Carol Grubba; and nieces and nephews.
