James Foster

Foster, James Richardson - Age 90 of Davison, passed away Sunday May 20, 2018 at Sugarbush Assisted Living. In accordance with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A military service will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly on June 12, 2018 at 12:30 pm. Jim was a sergeant on the Flint Police Department retiring in 1974. He also worked security at Crossroads Village, Baker College and Crowley's Department Store. Jim served in the US Navy from 1945-1946. He was a member of the VFW post #4087 in Davison,the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #126, and the 12th Street Church of Christ. Jim loved the Detroit Tigers and Salmon Fishing on Lake Huron. Surviving are wife of 45 years, Marjorie (Siegel) Foster; three sons, Chris (Gwen), Richard and Bruce; step children, Virginia (Tim) Stevens, Lee (Bev) Siegel, Sue Dunning (Terry Boshaw), Dan (Wendy) Siegel and Jill Siegel; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge and Christine Foster; brother Norman Foster. Special thank you to Cricket and the staff at Sugar Bush for your love and care.
