James Albert Fahr

FAHR, James Albert  Age 48, of Gaines, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Monday, July 21, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Ed Lawrence officiating. Visitation will be held 5-9 PM Saturday and 12-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Fahr was born February 8, 1955 in Flint, the son of David Eugene and Betty Jane (Hixenbaugh) Fahr. He married Barbara Jean Wagner on September 16, 1978 in Gaines. Mr. Fahr was a Hamm Radio Operator N8QGG and CB Radio call sign Mr. Fix-it. He loved working on cars and computers and watching Nascar. Most of all he loved his family. Surviving are: wife, Barbara; daughter, Samantha Fahr; two sons, Gregory Fahr and Noelle Most, Adam Fahr, all of Gaines; six brothers and sisters, Caryn (Ken) Reed of Bay City, Gary (Heather) Fahr of Davison, Rosemary (David) Lobdell of Gaines, Dick (Diana) Wagner of Durand, Bonnie (Mike) Shepard of Byron, Wayne (Linda) Wagner of Mt. Pleasant; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his father, David Eugene Fahr in 1994; mother, Betty Jane Fahr in 2002; father-in-law, Alan Wagner in 2002.
