James William DeMarco, Jr.

DeMarco, James William, Jr. - age 64 of Swartz Creek, died July 11, 2023. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Monday, July 17, 2023, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Interment will be held at Crestwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9 AM - 2 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Down Syndrome Foundation. Jim was born December 11, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of James W. and Joan Ann (Altenbaugh) DeMarco. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. James married Juliana Marie Durish on December 6, 1985. He loved the outdoors, hunting the cabin up north. James was a family guy and loved playing practical jokes. Surviving are wife, Juliana; two daughters, Jessica (Jared) Porterfield and Jackie (Jason) Meyers; two grandchildren, Emalyth and Kain; four grand kitties; sister, Rita Giannani. He was preceded in death by mother, Joan Ann DeMarco; sister, Jo El; brother, Butch; and in-laws, Bob and Lois Durish. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
