James Dawson

DAWSON, James F. - Age 79, of Grand Blanc, died Saturday, March 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Larry Rednower officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 5PM - 8PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015, 1PM-4PM and 6PM- 8PM on Friday, March 13, 2015 and again 12PM until time service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to A.L.S. Association. James was born in Batesville, AR, the son of the late Clarence and Ida Mae (Robinson) Dawson. He married Frances Pryor in Auburn, IN on April 9, 1955 she preceded him in death on October 31, 1995. He married Marlene LeGrow in 1998 and she preceded him in death on June 29, 2006. James then married Dianne Martyszczyk in 2007 and she preceded him in death in 2013 Mr. Dawson grew and maintained 80 rosebushes and loved gardening. James was dedicated to his church and loved the LORD. He retired from G.M. Truck and Bus in 1990 with 35 years of service. James was a member of Grace Bible Church. Surviving are: son's Michael (Lori) Dawson of Genesee, James (Jada) Dawson II of Burton; brother-in-law Roy (Carol) Brymer of AR; grandchildren, Jennifer (Travis) Phillips of Linden, Stephen (Kassie) Dawson of Burton, Christopher (Jamie Colburn) Dawson of Burton, Haley Dawson of Genesee, Greg Brymer, Kristie Brymer both of AR; great grandchildren, Keegan, Brennyn; "Mom" Jean Klepach of FL; many step-children; several step grandchildren; brother Dwayne N. (Shirley) Dawson of MO; several nieces and nephews; long time family neighbors Mark (Pam) Drodzowski of Grand Blanc and many close friends .
