COLE, James Allen, age 61, of Lennon, passed away July 4, 2011. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM - 8 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Interment at Yerian Cemetery, Lennon. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. James was born March 6, 1950 in Paragould, AK, the son of Bob and Ella (Rinehart) Cole. He married Brenda Myers on June 29, 1968 in Linden. James was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed farming, traveling and camping. He retired from G.M. V-8 Engine Plant with 33 years of service. James also loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Brenda; three children, James Jr. (Sheila) Cole of Perry, Debbie (Steve Semrau) White of Lennon, John (Kim) Cole of Lennon; grandchildren, Justin White, Stephen Scott II, Zachary Scott, John-John Cole, Austin Cole, Courtney White, Ashley Cole, Matthew Cole; dog, Daisy; sisters, Edith (Duane) Holliday of Flushing, Linda (Don) Crowley of Florida, Earline Hull of Byron; brother, Virgil Cole of Durand; many nieces and nephews .
