James Mason Church

CHURCH, James Mason- Age 50, of Fenton,went to be with the Lord, Monday May 15, 2006.  A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, May 19, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Pastor Samuel Fleming officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until time of service Friday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the National Organization for Rare Diseases (Multiple Systems Atrophy).  Jim was born December 27, 1955 in Princeton, WV, the son of Robert, Sr. and Grace (Henderson) Church.  He married Myra Dennison Shoemaker June 12, 1999 in Fenton.  He retired from the Operating Engineers Local 324 and also owned Old World Oils and Insence.  Surviving are:  wife, Myra; daughter, Sara Lynn Church; 3 step sons, Mike Wade, Steve Parker and Chris Shoemaker; 6 brothers, Robert, Jr., Joseph, Richard Donald, Thomas, John and Jack Church; 2 sisters, Wanda Bailey and Deloris Sharp; many nieces and nephews; former wife and friend, Judith Tomlinson; extended family, Donald Bergeron, Buddy Brandon and Shelly Briggs.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judith church.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
