BREWER, James Earl age 73 of Flint died at home on Friday, April 14, 2006. Mr. Brewer was born on August 12, 1932 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  He has lived in the Flint area for many years.  He and Martha (Faye) Henley were married in 1951 and she survives.  Mr. Brewer had been employed by the C.J. Rogers Construction Co. and the Genesee County Road Commission. He enjoyed playing bingo and playing cards, but most of all he enjoyed his family.  Surviving is his wife Martha (Faye);  3 children,  Gary Brewer of Flint, Annette Brewer  of Swartz Creek and Wendy (Wayne) Cohoon of Swartz Creek.  Also surviving are 4 grandsons; Derek (Lady) Lawson, Brent Lawson, Adam (Jennifer) Cohoon and Eric (Heather) Cohoon; 3 great-grandchildren; Allison, Tyler and Nikita; and two on the way,  McKensie and Kaleb.  Further survivors include a sister Bonnie and husband Arie of Paragould, Arkansas and brothers; Bob and wife Gork of Gladwin; Jim and wife Ann of Florida and Shirl and wife Barb of Hartford, Mi and a special sister-in-law, Johnnie and husband James.  He was preceded by his parents; 3 brothers, Fred; Johnnie and Willie. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M.  Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (Just South of Hill Rd.).   Rev.  Bruce Garner will officiate.  Services will conclude at the funeral home.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday.  Mr. Brewers family wishes to thank the staff of Avalon Hospice  and Faith Tabernacle for all their kindnesses.
