James Bouchard

BOUCHARD, James Adelore - Age 88, of Linden, died Saturday, September 28, 2019.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden.  Burial immediately following in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to Reverence Home Health and Hospice, 5445 Ali Dr., Grand Blanc, MI 48439.

James was born January 18, 1931 in Flint, the son of Adelore Joseph and Caroline (Wyzina) Bouchard.  He was a 1949 graduate of St. Mary's Catholic High School.  He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.  He married Charolette Kostowske October 20, 1951 in Flint.  James retired in 1981 from GM Buick Motors after 30 years of service.  After he retired he resided in St. Helen for 35 years.  He was member of the Knights of Columbus Council #8390, St. Helen American Legion Post #416, and D.A.V. #122.

Surviving are: his wife, Charolette; 4 children, Diana (Gary) Seymour of Linden, Debra (Bruce) Christain of Howell, Linda (John) Wrubel of Fenton, and Denis (Debra) Bouchard of Traverse City; grandchildren, Katrina (Bill) Gleason, Michael (Amber) Seymour, Andrea Iverson, and Seth Bouchard; great grandchildren, Brennen, Alanna, Garrett, Luke, Logan, Payton, and Gage; brother, Richard (Ellen) Bouchard of Sugar Springs; and many nieces and nephews.
