James "Bo" Edmund Cook

Cook, James "Bo" - Age 66, of Bridgeport, formerly of Flint, passed away September 27, 2024 at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no public service will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. 

James was born April 14, 1958 in Flint, Michigan, the son of James and Mavis (Smithwick) Cook. He graduated from Bendle High School and worked for over 20 years as a mechanic for Kurtz. James was known as a hard worker and a very thoughtful person who would always do favors for family, friends and even strangers. On February 20, 2013 he married Myra Polmounter in Daytona, Florida and he enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren, his dogs and boating. 

He is survived by his wife, Myra; son, Terry Cook of Burton; daughter, Jennifer (Duane) Lewis of Flint; stepchildren, Crystal Linville of Clio, Heather (Rodney) Delicato of Sterling Heights, Rob (Sabrina) Gifford of Otisville, and Glenn Gifford of FL.; grandchildren, Jaxon, Kyra, and several other grandchildren; mother, Mavis Grow of Burton; sister, Belinda (Tom) White of Davison; nephew, Kris Winn. James was preceded in death by his first wife, Mona Lisa; father, James Cook; sister, Shonna; dog, Buddy.
