ANDERSON, James R. - age 52, of Deer Park, OH. May God bless James (Jimmy) Anderson our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. On March 21, 2018 James unexpectedly left this world. We deeply mourn the loss of his earthly presence but rejoice in his arrival at Heaven's eternal paradise. James celebrated life to the full. He loved family, friends, work, fishing, karaoke, reading, politics, laughing and a cold beverage or two. James was a bright light and his energy brought joy and happiness to those around him. James was also a survivor that had overcome great personal challenges. Funny, witty, intelligent, feisty, challenging...and perfectly made. James, aka Jimmy, aka Jiminy Crickets will be missed, remembered, loved and cherished. James leaves behind his mother, Jonnie Colette Shumaker and husband Rod Shumaker of Swartz Creek, MI; sisters, Cathy Mogler and husband Barry Mogler of Montgomery, TX., Lorrie Randolph of Trumann, AK., Jennifer Paullin and husband Jared Paullin of DesMoines, IA.; brothers, JR Anderson of Des Moines, IA., Kendall Carpenter and wife Cassie Carpenter of Grand Blanc, MI.; and stepmother, Rose Anderson of Des Moines, IA. He is preceded in death by his father, James Robert Anderson; grandmother, Hallie Holbrook; and brother Lon Carpenter. Private services have been held with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Grand Blanc.
