Jacquline Ann GILBERT

GILBERT, Jacqueline Ann - age 80, of Durand, went to be with her Lord Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Crestmont Healthcare Facility after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 10, 2009 Faith Missionary Church, 1327 N. Elms Rd. with Rev. Tom Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Vernon. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Faith Missionary Church or Brown City Camp. Mrs. Gilbert was born March 30, 1929 in Mt. Morris, the daughter of George and Pearl (Bentley) Bradford. She married Frederick Gilbert on February 20, 1947. Mrs. Gilbert was a member of Faith Missionary Church and volunteered at Brown City Missionary Camp. Surviving are: husband, Frederick; daughter, Patricia and husband, Roy Hammond of Flint Twp.; son, Rev. Michael Gilbert and wife, Cindy of IN; son-in-law, Tim Colton; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Ron Bradford and wife, Barbara of IN; sister-in-law, Juanita (Don) Ely. She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, William; daughter, Sherry Colton; sister, Mary Jean Hilgendorf; brothers, George and James Bradford.
